Huawei, Samsung and Qualcomm have already launched a chipset that supports 5G, and the next one is MediaTek. The Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturer officially announced that the new 5G chipset will be available in May, which means there are still up to 10 days.
The Helio M70 5G modem is MediaTek's first generation 5G solution, a 5G modem with LTE and 5G dual connectivity (EN-DC), and multi-mode support for each cellular connection from 2G to 5G. The Helio M70 supports bands below 6 GHz and initial non-independent (NSA) and future stand-alone (SA) 5G network architectures. However, it has not yet been officially launched or delivered to actual smartphone manufacturers.
MediaTek's current top priority is 5G and AI. The previously released MediaTek P90's powerful AI capability not only allows users to take more realistic photos, but also real-time 3D gesture tracking, real-time multi-object recognition, real-time accent translation, and full-body virtual images. Augment the real world and other new experiences!
