Toshiba, a new product of Arm Cortex-M microcomputer for consumer and industrial use.
Cortex-M3 core is adopted, operating frequency is 80 MHz maximum.

In July 2018, Toshiba Device & Storage announced that it began mass-production as a new addition of "M3H Group" as a family "TXZ" microcomputer for consumer and industrial equipment equipped with Arm Cortex-M core.
"M3H group" adopts Arm Cortex-M3 core. There are standard "M3H group (1)" with maximum operating frequency of 40 MHz and "M3H group (2)" with expanded memory capacity with a maximum operating frequency of 80 MHz and abundant package specifications. Depending on these product groups, the number of terminals of the package supports 13 types from 32 to 144 terminals. The built-in flash memory capacity was prepared from 32 k bytes to 512 k bytes. It is possible to select microcomputers with optimum specifications for applied equipment.
The M3H group integrated high precision analog circuits such as a 12-bit A / D converter with a conversion time of 1.5 microsecond and an 8-bit D / A converter. In addition to this, the M3H Group (2) has its own motor control circuit A-PMD (Advanced-Programmable Motor Driver) suitable for inverter control such as brushless DC motor. By installing these functions, it is possible to achieve higher functionality and lower power consumption while mounting highly versatile peripheral circuits such as UART, I 2 C, TSPI, timer and others.
In addition, it incorporates a self-diagnostic function for checking the reference voltage of the A / D converter, a RAM parity function for detecting errors every time the memory is read, and a CRC calculation circuit. Supply voltage is 2.7 to 5.5V. The operating temperature range is -40℃ to 85℃.
