Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation ("Toshiba") has launched two bipolar transistors "TTA2060" and "TTC5712" (with SC-62 package: Toshiba’s nickname is PW-Mini), suitable for gate drive circuits in power devices, current switches in consumer equipment and industrial equipment, and LED drive circuits.
The collector-to-emitter voltage rating and collector current (DC) rating of TTA2060 is -50 V/-2 A and that of TTC5712 is 50 V/3 A.
The new products use small surface mount type SC-62 package (Toshiba’s nickname: PW-Mini).
Compared with Toshiba’s existing products[1] with the same package, the new products have changed the wire material from gold to copper and the resin material from halogen-containing to halogen-free while the ratings and electrical characteristics are equivalent.
This contributes to the reduction of environmental impacts. It is also easy to replace Toshiba’s existing products [1].
